A broad overview of the ages of the world from the primordial to the modern. By most human kingdom’s reckoning the year is 663, but over 24,000 years have passed since the dawn of human history.
An introduction to the races of the world. Mankind dominates the earth, but there are other races of the natural world, and the unnatural. Sentient races from the Otherworld, from the realm below, and even the realm above, have mixed and mingled with human-kind for ages. This section gives some insight into these races.
Classes from the various sources in D&D and their wide variety of subclasses can sometimes feel a little shoe-horned in. This is where you can read up on how these classes fit into the world so that you can make your character feel at home.
Detailed information regarding the various kingdoms of the Isle of Bretonia, including things like maps, landmarks, and other details concerning the locations and geography of the world.
Details concerning the various faiths of the world, and their worshipers. From the holy assembly of Theos known as Verita, the hero-worship of the Dwarves, or the ancient ways of the common folk.
Details regarding the various organizations that inhabit the world and try to wield power and influence over its people. From the loose confederations of bardic performers, to the knightly orders of the realm.
Information regarding the rest of the world, the various realms and kingdoms outside of Bretonia. From the neighboring Hibernia, to the far off and ancient Shangri.
Information regarding the cosmic multiverse can be found here. Most people know of, or at least tell stories of, the Otherworld, home of the elves. But there are other realms, like Annwn below, or Heaven above.
Out of Character Information
These are the rules we follow for mechanical character creation, given the several options available in the Player’s handbook.
A complete and total listing of all house or ‘table’ rules in the game. My goal is to not use very many, but when/if they become necessary they will be detailed here for easy reference.
The semi-optional character preparation document for the in-character creation of your character. Preferably we would complete this together during a session 0 with the other players, but it can be read / referred to here as need be.
